New website allows residents to highlight problems on cycle and pedestrian routes

Steer Davies Gleave has just launched its first website in the USA for the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) in Colorado. The website is part of a wider project to update the region's nonmotorized transportation strategy.

The aim of the website is to allow people who live or work in the area to give their views and enable a dialogue between the planning process and the public. The website will also collect cycling and pedestrian issues from the community, allowing users to highlight problem areas on their routes or suggest improvements via an interactive map on the website.

The information collected through the website will be incorporated into the planning process and will help form the future of nonmotorized transportation in the Pikes Peak region.
